HALLOWEEN TIME!!

Halloween is not my favorite holiday cause my kids don't need a lot of candy, but it was a lot of fun dressing them up. Analyce wasn't to excited for Halloween but I don't think she really understood that she would get some free candy. So I dressed Analyce up as a witch and Jaren as a little horse. I think Jaren's outfit was supposed to be worn in the winter cause it was a really hot outfit. Although Halloween night isn't supposed to be 90 degrees. Well I took my kids trick or treating with their aunt Valerie and they had a blast. Analyce was a little unsure at first but then she got the hang of it. She insisted on riding in a stroller so that I could push her up to all the doors. Which was fine but that meant someone had to hold Jaren the whole time. The first couple of houses we went to Analyce wouldn't say anything cause she was too scared. I pushed her to the door then I said "Trick or treat." After two houses she insisted on walking and was excited to say trick or treat. I think she finally realized what she was getting after she said trick or treat. So after awhile she would walk to the door by herself while I stood by the side walk. This just made me realize how big my little girl is getting. I only took her to maybe ten houses cause she was getting handfuls of candy at each house. Analyce also insisted on her little brother having his own bucket. So she would walk up to the door holding two buckets and say give some candy for my little brother. It was really cute so I allowed it but now it just means we have double the candy. After we visited a few houses we decided to go to the movies. We went to the dollar theatre and saw Journey To The Center Of The Earth, which was a great movie. Analyce got a little bored and Jaren slept through the whole thing but I enjoyed it. The night was a blast and it was especially fun cause my little girl really enjoyed it. We just wished Daddy could have been home for all the fun. We got to leave the next morning to go up to the Grand Canyon to stay with Daddy. Analyce told her Daddy all about her fun time trick or treating.

BATH TIME!

Bath time always is a chore when you have a newborn. I do get some extra help from his big sister Analyce. She always has to sit on the counter next to the sink just to help out. Jaren on the other hand just sits back and chills. After Jaren's bath is over Analyce likes to stay on the sink to play in the water(gross I know but she doesn't care.) So the other day I finished up with Jaren and Analyce stayed to play and while I was getting Jaren dried off Analyce started screaming. I looked back into the kitchen and she was hanging onto the counter top with both hands and her feet dangling. I immediately ran over to try to help her before she fell but as I got there down she went. As she went down so did the tub full of water. Analyce thankful landed on her feet but the tub of water landed right on top of her. So the end result was a crying child who was drenched and my kitchen floor was a swimming pool. After I got Analyce to calm down we both laughed about it later. Needless to say she will not be hanging out on the counter when I am not around. I think she learned a valuable lesson that day and that is mommy does know what she is talking about. I don't know about everyone else's kids, but my little girl thinks she knows everything, but all I say to that is HA your only two. Well after all the mess was cleaned up she then had to hang out by her little brother.

Jaren just chillin in his little robe!

DUTY CALLS

My hubby was only home for four days this week, and it flew by. Jeremy had to return back to the Grand Canyon for work which we are hoping this will be his last week up there. After this week is over he will have a total of 2000 hours which is what he needs to fly EMS. He has already applied for a EMS job located in Globe, and we are praying he gets it. There are a lot of things that we like about the EMS job if he gets it. He would be able to come home every night, get payed almost double from what he is making now, and the drive to work would only be about one hour. So as you can see we really want him to get this job. I would then be able to officially quit my job at CVS, and I can't hardly wait. Jeremy doesn't really like the job at the Canyon because he gets sick of flying the same route twenty times a day. When he first got the job he absolutely loved it but that only lasted for a month or two. Since this is his last week on the job me and the kids are gonna drive up there so he can take us for a ride over the Canyon. I don't like to fly as much as Jeremy does, but hopefully he will keep us safe. He has been doing this exact same flight for the past eight months with no accidents, so we should be fine. We will keep everyone updated on the new job.

Happy Birthday DAD!

My dads birthday was on October 19, and he turned 52. I can't believe it cause that just means I am getting older. I wanted to write a little something about my dad just so everyone knows how awesome he is. My dad is the kindest, sweetest man you will every meet. He always helps people in need and would do anything for his family. He is a hard working father who at one point had three jobs to support his family. My dad was diagnosed with cancer about three years ago and wasn't given very good odds to live. When I found out I was heart broken because I hadn't been able to give my dad his first grandchild. Jeremy and I had been trying to get pregnant for two years with no luck. The month after we found out about my dads cancer I found out I was pregnant. I couldn't believe it cause we had tried and tried, and I had just about given up. I couldn't wait to tell my dad, so that he would be a little excited and have something to try to live for. I told him I was pregnant on fathers day which was a great gift to give him, and he was so excited. The next nine months were not the best for him as he was doing chemotherapy but he couldn't wait for the little bundle of joy to arrive. Now I have blessed my dad with to beautiful grand kids and he has even gotten one from my older brother. I have truly enjoyed watching my dad as a grandpa and we have been so blessed to be able to share this great experience with him. Happy birthday dad and we hope for many more years and grand kids to come. We love You! Analyce and my dad on his birthday!

I finally DID it!

For the past couple months I have been debating whether or not to cut my hair. I haven't cut my hair other then trimming it for like three years, so it has gotten really long. Whenever I thought of cutting it I would have horrible memories of me when I was a lot younger and went in for a haircut. I had wanted a really cute bob and came home with a MULLET! I think those were in style back then but not the style I was going for. That whole year I was stuck with the MULLET. The funny thing was after I had gotten that haircut a few weeks later a girl in my class got the same haircut. She said "Her mom saw my hair and loved it so she had to get her daughter the same haircut." I was thinking your mom likes my MULLET, well at least someone did cause I didn't . So as you can see I have been deathly afraid of trying to get a bob again. I got a coupon in the mail for a free haircut and style and decide now is the time to cut my hair. So I made the appointment and almost thought about canceling it a few times but with the support from a few of my friends I went ahead and got the cut. I had decided that I wasn't going to get it too short cause my hubby prefers longer hair, but when I went in they asked me if I wanted to donate my hair. I thought sure then I can have a good reason for chopping my hair off. Well then they told me they had to have at least ten inches for me to be able to donate it so I went for it. I don't necessarily like it this short but it was for a good cause, right. All I have to say is it is not a MULLET!

Daddy came HOME

Jeremy currently works at the Grand Canyon and is gone for seven days at a time. While he is gone it is just me and the two cute kids. Analyce has gotten used to her daddy being gone all the time. While he is gone she tries to be such a big girl and is always reassuring me and Jaren that daddy will be back soon. Jaren is still too young to realize that he is gone but when daddy comes home he just stares and stares at him. After awhile I think he realizes who it is cause he just will smile at him so big. When Jeremy comes home he is always amazed at how big Jaren has gotten over the past week. The kids sure do love when daddy comes home and mommy does too. We LOVE YOU DADDY!

Joys of Motherhood

Every morning when my little girl, Analyce wakes up she asks immediately to hold her little brother Jaren. She then talks to him and laughs at him which gets him all excited and giggling. After this goes on for a few minutes she then starts to tell Jaren a secret in his ear. The secrets can vary but my favorite one is "Tell your mommy I need to brush my teeth." She then looks over to me with rolling eyes and a sigh and says "my breath stinks I have to brush my teeth." I have never known a two year old who loves to brush their teeth as much as she does. Then it takes a lot of convincing on my part to get her to wait until after breakfast to start the brushing. Analyce is my little cute girl who keeps me laughing all the time. My life would be so boring without those two cute kids. I Love you guys!

We joined!

We finally cracked under the pressure of blogging. I have been secretly addicted to reading other peoples blogs and decided that it was time to make one of our own. I am new at this so I really don't know what I am doing so bare with me. I figure if everyone else can do it then I should be able to figure it out, hopefully.
